The 2025 Volkswagen ID.7 Gets Two Trims, Both RWD And AWD, For U.S.
Volkswagen has revealed details about the 2025 ID.7 model in the United States, which is slated to debut in the second half of 2024 alongside the ID.4. The ID.7 will be categorized in the near-luxury sedan segment and will come in two trims—Pro S and Pro S Plus. With a single battery option of 82 kilowatt-hours and two powertrain variations (rear-wheel drive and dual-motor, all-wheel drive), there will be four main versions of the ID.7 available in the market:
– ID.7 Pro S RWD 19-in
– ID.7 Pro S AWD 19-in
– ID.7 Pro S Plus RWD 20-in
– ID.7 Pro S Plus AWD 20-in
Exact pricing and EPA range estimates are yet to be disclosed but it is anticipated that the EPA Combined range for the RWD version could be around 300 miles. The ID.7 will most likely start at under $60,000. In Europe, the 82-kWh battery offers up to 386 miles of WLTP range.
The Pro S trim of the ID.7 will come equipped with an array of deluxe features such as 19-inch wheels, illuminated logos, and power-folding mirrors. For safety, Volkswagen’s IQ.DRIVE advanced driver assistance technology will be standard in all ID.7 models.
Moving to the Pro S Plus trim, additional features include 20-inch wheels, DCC adaptive damping, dynamic steering, premium massage Climatronic seats, and a top-notch 700-watt Harman Kardon sound system with 14 speakers.
