Watch A Sur-Ron Motorcycle Waterski Across a Gator-Infested Pond
In the land of the sunshine and the crazies, Florida, there seems to be an abundance of lunatics. One group in particular, Grind Hard Plumbing Co., decided to take their modified Sur-Ron e-bikes for a spin in the state. One of the bikes, in particular, caught everyone’s attention – a Sur-Ron built specifically for waterskiing.
These unique bikes were crafted by GritShift, a small Florida-based shop known for their custom e-bikes and UTV parts. Inspired by a video from Robbie Maddison, the GritShift team attached aluminum skis to the Sur-Ron and added a paddle tire for propulsion. Despite some technical difficulties like water getting into the motors, the Sur-Ron Ski managed to glide across the water effortlessly.
In addition to the waterskiing Sur-Ron, GritShift also showcased their drag bike capable of hitting 60 mph in under 4 seconds. The team even raced a Corvette Z06 with their drag bike, reminiscent of the Indonesian single-cylinder drag motorcycles.
Both creations from GritShift look incredibly fun and inviting, making anyone eager to try them out for themselves.
