The Mercedes-Benz EQG will be shown ahead of the Beijing Motor Show on April 24, with the official launch the following day.
The car has retained its choppy design and iconic headlights. The side and rear parts of this car have also changed little compared to the fuel version.
Mercedes-Benz EQG received almost the same interior as the gasoline Mercedes-Benz G-Class. The car is equipped with two screens and a sports steering wheel with a cut-off lower part.
The Mercedes-Benz EQG will be equipped with four-wheel motors that will be able to provide independent drive to all four wheels. Mercedes-Benz officials said the new car will feature a newly developed silicon anode battery that will increase the battery's energy density by 20-40%.
Earlier, Mercedes-Benz showed the G-Turn tank turn function. It allows the car to make up to two full rotations (up to 720 degrees), but drivers can also use the feature to make 90-degree turns.
At the presentation, they will talk about the power and other characteristics of the new car.
