Modded Tesla Cybertruck and Toyota Land Cruisers Explore Death Valley
Donut’s YouTube channel recently featured a modified Tesla Cybertruck by Unplugged Performance for better off-road performance. The team took the Cybertruck on a tour of Death Valley and Cerro Gordo with the Dissent Off-Road crew and their modified Toyota Land Cruisers.
The journey started at Alabama Hills, a picturesque location near Los Angeles with a Tesla Supercharger in nearby Lone Pine. The Cybertruck’s base camp impressed the team with its light display and easy access to electric power.
The next day, they tackled the moderately challenging climb to Cerro Gordo, where the Cybertruck lost 8% of its charge on a 7-mile climb due to the tough terrain. Despite initial concerns about range, the truck made it to its destination with plenty of battery left.
Their journey continued to Death Valley, where they faced some delays due to a closed gas station and a detour caused by a landslide. Despite these challenges, the team enjoyed the trip and highlighted the importance of planning for off-grid travel with Electric vehicles.
Overall, the Cybertruck proved its capabilities in off-road settings, showcasing its efficiency on highways and dirt roads. Despite some unexpected obstacles, the team made the most of their adventure and returned with valuable experiences.
Lastly, a VW ID.4. We list this EV as a ?6️⃣ for plug color and max power. An ID.4 owner using Chargeway would see that ?6️⃣ is their fastest option at this station that offers ?4️⃣5️⃣6️⃣ chargers, so they can take full advantage of the highest power chargers here. pic.twitter.com/OH1U9n5lW5
