Tesla Cybertruck Owner’s Likes And Dislikes After 4,000 Miles
If you have been keeping up with the automotive industry over the last 5 years, chances are you have formed a strong opinion about Tesla’s Cybertruck. It’s likely that your family, friends, and acquaintances also have strong feelings about it.
For many, their views on Tesla’s latest model have been either very positive or extremely negative. However, actual Cybertruck owners have had more nuanced perspectives, as not all experiences with the Cybertruck have been trouble-free.
Fortunately, Eric from the YouTube channel Butter_EV has had a positive experience with his Cybertruck. After living with his Foundation Series for two months, he has had the opportunity to reflect on the truck’s strengths and weaknesses.
Eric has compiled a list of the best features and biggest drawbacks of the truck. Some highlights include Tesla’s groundbreaking use of steer-by-wire, excellent turning circle, top-tier sound system, and impressive payload capacity.
However, there are also areas where the Cybertruck falls short, such as the lack of a powered tailgate, issues with reaching into the bed due to its shape, and inadequate mirrors for towing.
Despite these drawbacks, Eric highly recommends the Cybertruck for its towing, hauling, and road trip capabilities. However, he finds the $100,000 price tag excessive and suggests waiting for a lower-priced model in the $60,000-$80,000 range.
Overall, Eric loves the Cybertruck but believes there is room for improvement, particularly in terms of pricing and some design features.
