Tesla Dashcam Catches Bystanders Rescuing Driver From Flaming Car
The TeslaCam recorded a video of bystanders bravely rescuing a driver from a burning gas car on the side of the highway near St. Paul, Minnesota. The cause of the crash is unknown, but the video shows a gas SUV engulfed in flames. The rescue effort was hindered by the guardrail, which prevented the doors from fully opening.
A small explosion momentarily forced the rescuers back from the wreckage. The driver of the Tesla attempted to break the front window using debris from the wreckage, but was unsuccessful. Eventually, a Minnesota Department of Transportation worker arrived and successfully broke the window. The driver was then pulled out by multiple rescuers, maintaining a safe distance from the fiery car.
The rescued driver expressed gratitude towards the Good Samaritans and professional responders who saved his life, referring to them as “highway heroes.” The driver credited them for his survival and emphasized the importance of looking for helpers in times of need. Fortunately, the driver sustained only minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
