The Chinese company Hozon Auto, which produces cars under the Neta brand, has launched a new medium-sized crossover Neta L. At the start of sales, the new product will be offered in four modifications, all of them with the EREV prefix. This abbreviation denotes electric vehicles with an increased range.
Neta L is built on the proprietary platform of generation 2.0. Overall length of the crossover – 4770 mm, width – 1900 mm, height – 1660 mm. The size of the wheelbase is 2810 mm. The aerodynamic drag coefficient of the body is 0.258 Cd.
Neta L is equipped with five millimeter-range radars, a front-facing camera and four surround-view cameras. The crossover also has 12 ultrasonic radars and a driver monitoring camera. As noted, the cabin camera implements advanced functions of Neta AD driving assistance. Among them are parking assistant, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping.
The crossover will be offered in five colors: Magic Night Black, Comet White, Particle Blue, Juechen Silver and Comet White. A two-tone version with a black roof is also available.
Most of the front panel is occupied by a double screen consisting of 15.6-inch displays: central and multimedia system. A full LCD instrument panel is hidden behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The front passenger entertainment screen with 2K resolution is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. There is also a Neta Sky Theater audio system with 16 speakers.
The crossover salon is transformed depending on the wishes and needs of users: sleep mode, karaoke, camping, SPA or outdoor viewing. There is even a separate mode for pets.
In addition, passengers have a 6.6-liter refrigerator and folding tables on the backs of the front seats. The temperature in the cabin is regulated through a mobile application or voice commands.
As already mentioned, all currently available versions of the Neta L are electric vehicles with extended range (EREV). The power plant is one for all – a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 91 hp. and a 231-horsepower electric motor. Battery capacity – 30 or 40 kWh. Electric range is 220 or 310 km for CLTC. Full mileage – 1300 km.
Lithium iron phosphate blocks for Neta L are supplied by CATL. They are replenished from 30% to 80% in 19 minutes. This allows Neta to claim that the Neta L is the fastest charging EREV model in the world.
In China, the price tag of the crossover ranges from $17,925 to $22,070. The basic version of Neta L will go on sale in August. The fully electric version of the crossover will have to wait a little longer. “Battery” Neta L manufacturer promised “in the future”.
