Chinese Zeekr, owned by Geely Group, is preparing to launch a new electric SUV with the index EX1E. Visually, the novelty will be similar to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
Prototypes of the electric car have not yet reached the lenses of photo spies, but the new model has been partially revealed in patent images. They show off the back of the SUV. It has a separate rear door, one part of which rises up, and the other – unfolds to the level of the trunk. It is stated that they work from an electric drive.
Also notable are the vertical trapezoidal lights, slanted D-pillars, large sunroof and roof spoiler, as well as plastic wheel arch inserts and a charging port on the left wing. Zeekr EX1E is based on the SEA platform.
It is worth noting that Zeekr's current model line includes four models: liftback 001, minivan 009, crossover X and sedan 007. Earlier this year, the company raised $441 million in an IPO and intends to release two new products this year (Mix MPV and Ark SUV) and three in the next one, one of which will be the Zeekr EX1E.
