Official photos of Geely Geome Xingyuan have been published. The budget electric car will go on sale in the fall and will cost approximately 80,000 yuan ($11,250) in the basic version. About this the website CarNewsChina reports.
The new Geely Geome Xingyuan is a B-class city hatchback with a streamlined design that will compete with BYD Dolphin and Wuling Bingo. It has smooth contours of the body, a pronounced “nose” and curved headlights and lanterns.
Dimensions of Geely Geome Xingyuan:
- length – 4135 mm;
- width – 1805 mm;
- height – 1570 mm;
- wheel base – 2650 mm;
- weight – 1215-1285 kg.
A narrow digital instrument panel and a large touchscreen were installed in the cabin. The multimedia system was created by smartphone manufacturer Meizu, which is owned by Geely. Two wireless smartphone chargers were installed on the central console.
The Chinese electric car Geely Geome Xingyuan will be offered in 78 and 114 hp versions: the maximum speed is 125 and 135 km/h, respectively.
You can also choose from two batteries – with a capacity of 30.1 or 40.1 kWh. In the first case, the range will be 310 km, in the second – 410 km.
