The Wuling Starlight 2024 line has been expanded – an electric car has joined the hybrid. It goes on sale in China at a price of 109,800 to 119,800 yuan ($15,000 to 16,600). About this the website CarNewsChina reports.
General Motors specialists participated in the development of the model. It is the American concern that co-owns the Chinese brand Wuling, which specializes in budget electric cars.
The Wuling Starlight electric car can be distinguished from the hybrid version by the design of the front part: it has thinner headlights and no radiator grille. The sedan is distinguished by an elongated streamlined silhouette with a long hood: thanks to this, it has a low aerodynamic coefficient – 0.228.
Dimensions of Wuling Starlight 2023:

- width – 1860 mm;
- height – 1515 mm;
- wheel base – 2800 mm.
A virtual instrument panel and a large touchscreen are installed in the cabin. The volume of the trunk is 540 liters. The budget electric car is equipped with keyless entry, climate control, light and rain sensors in the green version, and the top sedan also has electric seats.
The Chinese electric car is equipped with a 136-horsepower engine and is capable of reaching 150 km/h. There are versions with 42 and 54 kWh batteries to choose from: the range is 410 and 510 km, respectively.
