The new Hyundai Inster was presented at the Busan auto show. The electric version of the Casper budget model will go on sale in South Korea by the end of summer, and later it will appear in Europe and the Middle East. They talked about the car on the official website of Hyundai.
The Hyundai Inster electric crossover is a subcompact urban model with a choppy design and extended wings. It differs from its gasoline counterpart in pixel optics, changed bumpers and a plug in place of the radiator grille. In addition, the electric car is 230 mm longer.
Hyundai Inster 2025 dimensions:
- length – 3825 mm;
- width – 1610 mm;
- height – 1575 mm;
- wheel base – 2580 mm.
In the cabin, two 10.25-inch displays are installed on the front panel, and the backlight can change color (64 options are available). The rear seats have horizontal adjustment and a variable angle of inclination of the back. Depending on their position, the volume of the trunk is from 280 to 351 liters.
Hyundai Inster electric car can be equipped with quite a lot – all-round cameras, wireless phone charging, panoramic roof, heated seats are available. They also offer a wide range of safety systems – adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, sign recognition, control of “blind” zones and driver fatigue.
The new Hyundai Inster will be offered in two front-wheel drive versions:
- 97 hp and 147 Nm, 42 kWh battery, 300 km range;
- 115 hp and 147 Nm, 49 kWh battery, 355 km range.
Fast charging with direct current (120 kW) to 80% takes half an hour, and with alternating current (11 kW) – 4-4.5 hours. Bidirectional charging function is also provided.
The price of Hyundai Inster in Europe will be approximately 22,000 euros. It will be the cheapest electric car of the South Korean brand.
