The Cupra company has officially presented the flagship modification of the Tavascan electric crossover. We will remind you that Cupra Tavascan is the third model of the brand after Formentor and Born. The car is based on the same MEB platform as the Volkswagen ID. 5 and Skoda Enyaq, and is manufactured at VW Group's Chinese plant in Anhui.
Accepting orders for the new product in Great Britain starts from September 11. Prices for the crossover start at 55,000 euros. The basic version is equipped with a power plant with a capacity of 282 hp. and is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Thanks to the 77 kWh traction battery, the car can cover up to 567 km without recharging.
The all-wheel drive version has 335 hp in its arsenal, thanks to the greater power, the acceleration time from zero to the first hundred is reduced to 5.5 seconds. Interestingly, the range-topping VZ2 is the most expensive car in the entire Cupra range currently on sale, with prices starting at €70,000.
Exact details and prices of the most expensive variant have not been released, but customers can place a pre-order of 150 euros to get priority to buy one of the first 50 cars.
