The Chinese electric car manufacturer Zeekr has officially presented the new 7X EV crossover. The five-seater car was officially shown in China during the Chengdu Motor Show. Zeekr describes the new product as a universal crossover. Its interior has 32 compartments for things with an ergonomic design, and its trunk can hold 616 liters.
The novelty uses the proprietary 800 V architecture of the parent company Geely. Customers will be able to choose between a 75kWh LFP battery, which provides a range of up to 605km, and a 100kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, which extends the range to 780km.
Other important features of the new product include a set of sensors with dual Nvidia Orin-X SoC processors, LiDAR, HD cameras and millimeter-range radars that support advanced intelligent assistance functions.
The basic Zeekr 7X is equipped with one electric motor on the rear axle (422 hp). The average version is also single-engine. The all-wheel drive top version has a total power of 646 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.0 seconds. The maximum speed of all versions is limited to 210 km/h, the curb weight varies from 2298 to 2475 kg. Well, the lidar “mushroom” above the windshield means the presence of an autopilot.
Orders for Zeekr 7X crossovers are already open in China. The price of the basic crossover starts at $33,800. According to the automaker, it is expected that the first deliveries of serial cars will begin in China at the end of September.
