You Can Get A Big Discount On A Genesis EV Right Now
The electric vehicle market has seen a lot of changes in recent months. Tesla raised the price of the Model Y but lowered the leasing fee for the Model 3. BMW also reduced the leasing cost for the i4, making it their most affordable car to lease. Additionally, Lucid offered significant discounts on their Air sedans.
Not to be outdone, Genesis is now offering deals for leasing and purchasing their EVs. According to CarsDirect.com, Genesis, which is part of the Hyundai Motor Group, is giving a $7,500 discount on their Electric vehicles this month. Almost all battery-powered Genesis models can benefit from this discount.
Until the end of April, the GV60, Electrified GV70, and Electrified G80 from Genesis can all get a $7,500 lease cash discount. For example, the entry-level GV60’s price drops to $45,850 with the discount. The larger Electrified GV70’s MSRP also decreases significantly.
These discounts are also available for purchasing, but they cannot be combined with low-interest financing. The Electrified G80 sedan does not qualify for the purchase discount, but the lease cash incentive is still available until the end of April.
Unfortunately, Genesis EVs are not currently eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit when purchased, making them slightly more expensive than some competitors. The base GV60 has a range of 294 miles on a full charge, while the larger Electrified GV70 offers all-wheel drive and a range of 236 miles. The Electrified G80 sedan starts at $75,625 and offers all-wheel drive with a range of 282 miles.
