Pininfarina Made a Batmobile You Can Actually Buy
Pininfarina has unveiled a new series of high-end cars inspired by Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne. The B95 and Battista models feature unique design elements that aim to make you feel like the billionaire superhero. The cars come in two trims: Gotham and Dark Knight. The Gotham trim includes tan leather upholstery, center panel quilting, and tan stitching, while the Dark Knight trim features black Alcantara, black leather seats, and duo-tone contrast stitching.
The Gotham Battista boasts a sleek Argento Vittorio gloss paint exterior with a Nero Torino roof, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels, and a backlit Pininfarina logo in brushed aluminum. The Dark Knight models come in Nero Profondo with Nero Torino roofs and ceramic-polished rims.
Both cars are powered by a 120.0-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery and four electric motors generating 1,900 horsepower. They can accelerate to 62 miles per hour in less than two seconds. The displays feature Wayne Enterprises enhancements and an Alfred Pennyworth-inspired instruction voice.
Pininfarina also enhanced the Battista’s aerodynamics with tailgate shark fins, louver openings, and rear carbon wings. The cars feature Wayne Enterprises logos on the side skirts and roof. These special edition cars are part of a collaborative effort between Pininfarina and Wayne Enterprises, initiated by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. The partnership will be launched at BruceWayneX.com, where limited-edition products like jet skis, bicycles, and the iconic Tumbler will be available.
Although the pricing for the Batman-themed cars has not been disclosed, the standard Battista starts at $2.2 million, while the B95 costs $4.8 million. These exclusive vehicles are designed for those with the wealth of Bruce Wayne.
