The 2025 Audi RS E-Tron GT Performance Will Be a New Flagship
Audi is teasing its upcoming flagship electric sedan, the RS E-Tron GT Performance, following the debut of the 2025 Porsche Taycan. While not as hardcore as the Taycan Turbo GT, this new model will offer a power boost above the outgoing range-topper. Details are scarce, but Audi has shared images of a camouflaged car with ceramic brakes peeking out from behind aero wheels.
The front and rear motors in the RS E-Tron GT Performance are expected to be less powerful than the Taycan Turbo S, but improvements have been made to the powertrain and battery pack for extended range. Charging speed has also been increased, and a new suspension system with individually active dual-valve dampers, borrowed from the Porsche Panamera, has been developed for added comfort.
Audi plans to reveal the 2025 E-Tron GT later this year, with updates across the range. Stay tuned for more information as the unveiling approaches.
Keep an eye on this. We've seen the Japanese autos struggling in China and now @VW.
There are openings for VW in US EV market, particularly with more ID.4, ID. Buzz and the @Porsche Macan.
