Baojun Yep crossover is a development of General Motors specialists, because the Chinese brand belongs to the American concern. The model is an electric analogue of the Suzuki Jimny.
The new Baojun Yep Plus is not much different from the three-door version of the model. It has a characteristic two-volume silhouette with a high hood, vertical rear roof pillars and short body overhangs. On the rear windows, plastic overlays are installed in the spirit of Land Rover Defender.
Five-door Baojun Yep is 60 cm longer than the standard model. It is comparable in size to the extended Suzuki Jimny.

But the interior of the Baojun Yep Plus is somewhat different from that of a short crossover. Two displays are installed on the front panel. The interior became more spacious, although it remained four-seater, and the volume of the trunk increased to 385-1715 liters.
The top version of the model is equipped with heated seats, all-round cameras, parking pilot and adaptive cruise control.
The Chinese electric car Baojun Yep Plus is equipped with a more powerful 102 hp motor. and 180 Nm and a 42 kWh battery. It is capable of developing 150 km/h and has a range of 401 km, and charging the battery in fast mode to 80% takes 35 minutes.
