Banque Du Caire Introduces New Financing Programs for Sustainable Technologies in Egypt
Banque Du Caire has recently launched innovative financing programs aimed at promoting the adoption of sustainable technologies in Egypt. These programs offer loans for the purchase of Electric vehicles and installation of solar panels, demonstrating the bank’s commitment to supporting a greener future.
This initiative is in line with Banque Du Caire’s continuous efforts to promote sustainable financing solutions. Deputy CEO Ahmed Effat emphasized, “As a leading financial institution with a rich history, we believe that sustainable financing is essential for our growth. These new products provide flexible financing options at competitive rates, aligning with the directives of the Egyptian state and Central Bank.”
Effat highlighted the bank’s environmental dedication, stating, “Our commitment to the environment motivates us to implement a strategy that supports Egypt’s shift towards a green economy.” The electric car and solar panel financing programs are part of a wider range of initiatives designed to achieve this goal.
Mohamed Tharwat, Head of Retail Banking and Microfinance, detailed the programs, stating, “The personal loan for solar panels offers financing up to one million Egyptian pounds with a repayment period of up to seven years. Electric car loans are available up to EGP 6 million with repayment periods of up to eight years.” Additionally, the bank has collaborated with various showrooms and solar panel companies to offer customers a diverse range of options tailored to their specific needs.
