If you've ever wanted an electric SUV that looked like it just came off the set of a fantasy movie, BYD has the EV for you. BYD, under its new sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao, has unveiled its new Super 3 electric SUV concept car, which features a rugged design and a drone landing pad. The new electric car is expected to cost less than $28,000.
Last June, BYD announced its new brand, Fang Chang Bao. It is known that the new brand will specialize in personalized and professional cars. Its first car, the Bao 5, was launched in November.
BYD said the Fang Chang Bao brand will produce a range of vehicles, from SUVs to sports cars.
At the spring conference on April 16, the brand presented three new models: its flagship Bao 8 SUV, the Super 9 sports convertible and the Super 3 concept. Unlike the Boa 5, the Super 3 will be fully electric.
BYD says the electric SUV's chassis is inspired by Star Wars. Once the concept goes into production, it is expected to be called the Bao 3.
The new electric car is intended for young buyers. Interestingly, the car is equipped with a drone that lands on the roof. The new electric SUV is said to debut next week at Auto China 2024. According to CarNewsChinaprices for the Bao 3 start at around $27,500.
