Tesla has a new feature – sports seats for the Model S Plaid, which better allow you to feel the insane power of the electric supercar.
Although the Model S is considered a family sedan, its Plaid version is a real electric supercar. Let's face it, not every supercar is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph (96.5 km/h) in 1.99 seconds.
The feeling of acceleration, when the driver and passenger are pressed into the back of the seat, is incredibly impressive.
That is why the developers of the Tesla Model S decided to put more comfortable seats, because the standard seats are not designed for super-active driving.
Main characteristics of chairs:
- improved lateral support;
- modular seat architecture for comfort and support;
- 12-position electric adjustment;
- heating and ventilation;
- high-quality suede for improved grip and reduced weight.
And to top it all off, carte blanche for future owners: the seats are now standard on the S Plaid models, starting in early April. The manufacturer does not charge additional fees for this – the price tag remained at $90,000. Whether such chairs will be sold separately and at what price is unknown. Instead, it is hoped that they will also appear on the top Model 3.
