Maserati expands the Folgore electric range. The “green” version appeared in the new Maserati GranCabrio. It was presented in the Italian city of Rimini with the participation of Maneskin vocalist Damiano David. It is reported on the official website of the automaker.
Like the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore coupe, the convertible is equipped with an all-wheel drive system with three electric motors that together develop 751 hp. in normal mode and 818 hp. – short term. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.8 seconds, and the maximum speed is 290 km/h.
The 92.5 kWh battery provides a range of 447 km. It can be charged to 80% in fast mode in just 18 minutes.
The electric car differs from the gasoline Maserati GranCabrio in the design of the radiator grille and wheels. Its soft roof folds with the help of an electric drive in 14 seconds at a speed of up to 50 km/h. The cabriolet is 90 kg heavier than the coupe.
The interior of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is decorated with leather and carbon fiber. The cabriolet received a virtual instrument panel and two displays on the central panel. The equipment was supplemented by acoustics with 16 speakers and seats with neck heating.
Soon, the Folgore family will be joined by another member – the electric version of the Maserati MC20 supercar. And from 2028, the Italian brand will completely switch to the production of electric cars.
