The new Cadillac Sollei is a modern version of the Eldorado Biarritz model. It is an electric alternative to the Bentley Continental GTC and Rolls-Royce Dawn convertibles. The name of the car was formed from two words – Sol (“sun”) and Leisure (“leisure”).
Cadillac Sollei is a conceptual four-seater convertible with a length of more than 5 meters, which is a frontal copy of the Celestiq. Car doors reach 1.7 m in length.
Thin lights are installed at the back. It is also worth noting the olive color borrowed from the 1958 Cadillac palette.
In the interior of the Cadillac Sollei, along with leather and wood, innovative materials such as mushroom mycelium fabric are used. The soft roof is made of special reinforced material.
Four armchairs were installed inside, separated by a high console. A 55-inch display stretches across the entire width of the front panel. Separate touch screens are located between the seats.
In addition, Cadillac Sollei received a small refrigerator with a set of expensive dishes. And the car comes with an expensive drawing album and a book with images of rare birds.
The characteristics of the convertible are not disclosed. Most likely, the 600-horsepower unit will be shared by the Cadillac Celestiq electric car. In this case, the range will reach approximately 500 km. In addition, the car will receive air suspension and steerable rear wheels.
