The Japanese automaker presented a new commercial electric vehicle Toyota Proace Max. The novelty is equipped with a 272-horsepower electric motor and a 110 kWh traction battery. It is noted that the new vehicle is capable of transporting up to 1,400 kg of cargo and covering up to 420 km on one charge of the traction battery.
The commercial van has already gone on sale in Europe at a price of 71,000 euros. The novelty from Toyota is a “relative” of Citroen Jumper, FIAT Ducato and Peugeot Boxer. Externally, the Japanese model differs only in the design of the front part.
A digital instrument panel and a 10-inch touchscreen monitor were installed in the Toyota Proace Max cabin. The basic equipment of the car includes climate control, a light sensor, a rear view camera and parking sensors.
According to the Japanese automaker, it is possible to charge the traction battery of an electric vehicle from 10 to 80% in a fast mode with a direct current of 150 kW in just 55 minutes.
