Compact crossover Hyundai Kona Electric remains one of the most affordable EVs in the US with a starting price below $35,000. The automaker presented an updated version of the electric car and added the N Line modification with an updated design to the model line.
Car upgrades start with the exterior. Yes, Hyundai designers have added a pixelated seamless light strip in the front, and also added active louvres to the radiator grille for better aerodynamics.
The interior of the novelty received a new generation infotainment system with a pair of 12.3-inch displays. Of course, the system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over the air.
Hyundai said that the sports version of the Kona Electric N Line electric car received sports front and rear bumpers, side sill plates and 19-inch wheels. Inside, the N Line model features sports seats with red stitching and N Line badges. You can also notice red elements on the steering wheel and dashboard.
Prices for the Hyundai Kona Electric N Line are known to start at $39,670. Prices for the base updated Kona Electric start at $34,270.
It is noted that the updated electric car has batteries with a capacity of 48.6 and 64.8 kWh. The basic SE variant with a smaller battery has a range of 320 km. It is also equipped with a front electric motor with a capacity of 133 hp. The N Line, SEL and Limited models are equipped with a more powerful 201-horsepower electric motor.
Thanks to a more powerful 64.8 kWh battery, the N Line has a range of 370 km, and the crossover in the SEL and Limited versions can go up to 420 km.
