The new Genesis G80 Electrified was presented at the Busan Auto Show. The electric version of the premium E-class sedan from Hyundai has been modernized after the gasoline version. His details have been revealed on the official website of the South Korean automaker.
Like the ICE version, the Genesis G80 2024 electric car can be recognized by the changed front end. It has been updated with a radiator grille, front bumper and headlights.
Unlike its gasoline sibling, the new Genesis G80 Electrified has grown in size. Its wheelbase has increased by 130 mm (to 3140 mm), and the length has grown to 5135 mm.
The interior of the Genesis G80 Electrified has undergone more significant changes – the steering wheel and front panel have been replaced there. A wide two-section display with a diagonal of 27 inches appeared, and part of the buttons on the central panel were made touch-sensitive.
As before, the Genesis G80 Electrified sedan is equipped with a two-motor all-wheel drive power plant with 370 hp. and 700 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds.
The increased size of the car made it possible to install a new battery with a capacity of 95.4 kWh. The range increased by 11% – up to 475 km. Car sales will start in August, and the model's competitors will be the BMW i5 and Mercedes EQE.
