The South Korean company KG Mobility, formerly known as SsangYong, presented a new version of its Torres crossover. It was converted into a commercial Van with an electric motor.
A similar version is already available in the gasoline version of the model. The electric car was named KGM Torres EVX Van and it does not differ in appearance from the passenger modification.
In the cabin, the rear seats were removed and a cargo compartment was installed in their place. It is fenced off from the driver by a partition, and protective arcs appeared on the windows.
The volume of the luggage compartment is 1462 l, and it can carry objects with a length of 180 cm. The carrying capacity of the KGM/SsangYong Torres EVX Van is 300 kg.
The driver’s seat has not changed: the crossover keeps two displays on the front panel. Equipment includes air conditioning and adaptive cruise control.
The KGM Torres EVX Van electric crossover is equipped with a 207-horsepower motor on the front axle and a battery with a capacity of 73.4 kWh. The range is 411 km. The price of the electric car in South Korea is 44.38 million won ($32,250).
