Volkswagen expanded line ID.7, presenting two new versions, which will be available in the body of a fastback and station wagon. The GTX models have all-wheel drive, while the Pro S is offered exclusively with a single electric motor on the rear axle. The novelties are equipped with a battery with a capacity of 86 kWh.
In ID.7 GTX guise, it is able to offer up to 595 km of predicted range, while GTX Tourer, ID.7 Pro S and Tourer Pro S have a range of 585, 709 and 690 km respectively. The battery supports charging up to 200 kW. The automaker says it can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 26 minutes.
The GTX version can be recognized by the 20-inch wheels, new matrix IQ.LIGHT LED headlights, illuminated logos and unique daytime running lights, which were created specifically for these models.
Also standard are unique interior features such as perforated GTX seats on the backrests, red contrast stitching on the panels and steering wheel, as well as a projection display and infotainment system with integrated Chat GPT. The trunk volume of models in the fastback body is 532 liters, and in the Tourer body – 603 liters.
According to Volkswagen, sales will begin on June 6. Prices for the German models start at €63,155 for the ID.7 GTX and €63,955 for the GTX Tourer, while the ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S will start at €58,985 and €59,785 respectively.
