Porsche presented a single-engine version electric crossover Macan and a more powerful version of the 4S. In addition, buyers can also add an optional off-road package to the Macan regardless of trim level.
As reported by Carscoops, the least powerful version of the Macan will cost from $75,300. The entry-level Macan is equipped with a single electric motor on the rear axle with two power options of 250 kW (340 hp) and 265 kW (360 hp).
In this version, the crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, and its maximum speed is 219 km/h. In addition, the basic version is lighter by 110 kg compared to the all-wheel drive version.
Given that the single-motor version uses the same 100kWh battery pack as the Macan 4, the base variant will likely have the longest range in the lineup, but Porsche hasn't disclosed those parameters yet.
The next addition to the lineup is the more powerful Macan 4S, which fills the niche between the Macan 4 and the Macan Turbo. It is equipped with two electric motors with a combined power of 449 hp, or 517 hp. depending on the version.
This configuration allows the electric car to reach 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, making it 1 second faster than the Macan 4 and 0.8 seconds slower than the Macan Turbo. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h. New options are now available to order. The single-engine Porsche Macan starts at $75,300, while the Macan 4S starts at $84,900.
An optional off-road package is also available to buyers, which includes a revised front bumper with protective elements on the side skirts and diffuser and new 21-size five-spoke wheels in Vesuvius Grey. It also adds the option of an additional 10mm air suspension lift, increasing the ground clearance to 195mm in normal mode and 225mm in maximum.
