Lucid Air electric sedan has been significantly updated. So, the basic version of the car called Air Pure received a new battery with a capacity of 84 kWh, which provides the electric car with a range of up to 675 km on a single charge without increasing the initial price of the equipment.
According to the automaker, the new, energy-efficient battery provides 5 miles of driving range per kilowatt-hour of energy, making the electric vehicle “the most energy-efficient vehicle” on sale today.
The Lucid Air 2025 model range comes in three configurations – Pure, Touring and Grand Touring. The top-of-the-line GT variant also got a longer range – 824 km compared to 780 km in the model of the previous model year.
Prices for the flagship version, which has an 812-horsepower power plant in its arsenal, start at $111,400. Of course, the intermediate version, Lucid Air Touring, with all-wheel drive costs less. Its starting price is $79,400 and the range is 400 miles. The base model year Air Pure 2025 starts at $71,400.
Lucid has also improved the infotainment capabilities of the EV with a new processor with three times the power and twice the memory. It also fitted all machines with the heat pump originally featured on the Sapphire.
