Porsche has unveiled an exclusive version of the Taycan Turbo K-Edition electric sedan to celebrate its 10th anniversary in South Korea. The limited series features unique exterior and interior elements inspired by Korean culture.
“The Taycan Turbo K-Edition concept is to reflect the close connection between Porsche DNA and Korean society and culture”– explained CEO of Porsche Korea Holger Herrmann.
One of the first things you'll notice is the new logo on the front, based on the historical Korean royal stamping. Inside the symbol, the name of the model – “Taycan” is written in Korean characters.
Porsche designers also used the racetrack in the new logo. A team of artists hand painted the logo on the charging port. It can also be found on the seat headrests and the leather key holder.
The limited edition Porsche Taycan K-Edition is available exclusively in South Korea. It is based on the updated Porsche Taycan Turbo electric car, and has a power plant with a capacity of 871 hp, which allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.
Buyers will be able to choose from five body colors: Ruby Red, Oak Green, Ipanema Blue, Macadamia and Alex Grey.
