Volkswagen has opened orders for the ID.3 GTX Performance flagship model, which has a capacity of 326 horsepower and 545 Nm, which is transmitted to the rear axle. At the same time, the ID.3 GTX version, which has a lower power of 285 hp, is also available for order.
For the first time in the VW ID range of electric cars, the maximum speed is not limited to 200 km/h. The car has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 79 kWh, which provides a range of up to 601 km and is capable of receiving a charge with a capacity of up to 185 kW. This allows you to charge the battery from 10 to 80% in just 26 minutes.
The ID.3 GTX has a reinforced standard MacPherson suspension on the front axle and a five-link suspension on the rear. The flagship ID.3 GTX Performance can also be equipped with a modified Sport DCC adaptive chassis control.
The new products can be recognized thanks to the sporty design style with a unique front bumper and light graphics, as well as 20-inch Skagen GTX wheels, which are optionally available in all-black.
Inside, the ID.3 GTX Performance features a 12-by-9-inch infotainment display with built-in IDA voice assistant with ChatGPT, an augmented reality projection display, the Wellness app and a Harman Kardon sound system.
The package of security systems includes systems of adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking (Front Assist) with monitoring of pedestrians and cyclists, lane keeping and sign recognition. In Germany, the ID.3 GTX Performance is available from €52,295.
