The new KIA EV5 is brought to the world market. An affordable family electric crossover will soon be sold not only in China (the car is produced there). About this writes the website Carscoops.
From June, the electric car KIA EV5 will appear in Australia and Thailand, and by the end of the year it will be presented in several more countries. It is known that the crossover will cost less than $46,000 in the Australian market.
In China, the new KIA EV5 is even cheaper (from $36,800), but the global version of the model will have a richer configuration. In particular, it will receive more active safety systems.
We will remind you that the new KIA EV5 is an electric alternative to the Sportage model and a competitor to the Volkswagen ID.4. The 4.6-meter crossover is distinguished by a chopped design with thin headlights in the spirit flagship KIA EV9.
Two displays are installed in the cabin on the front panel. The crossover can be equipped with the function of accessing the interior from a smartphone, three-zone climate control, cameras for a circular view, parking autopilot, electric drive for seats and trunk doors, seat ventilation, and a semi-autonomous driving system.
The KIA EV9 2024 crossover is produced in front-wheel drive 218-horsepower and all-wheel drive 313-horsepower versions. The export version of the model will receive a new 82 kWh battery, and its range will be about 600 km.
