Skoda is preparing for the electric revolution. Gradually, all models with gasoline and diesel engines will be displaced from the Czech brand's lineup and replaced by electric vehicles. About this reports the L'Argus website.
According to him, in 2033 Skoda will completely stop production of passenger cars with internal combustion engines for Europe. Not only that, so far they have not presented any new gasoline or diesel models, but will only update the existing ones. According to L'Argus, the Skoda Kodiaq and Superb have become the brand's latest all-new European models with internal combustion engines.
The recently presented electric crossover Skoda Epiq will enter the market at the end of 2025. It is interesting that before this, another electric model will appear – the 4.4-meter crossover Elroq, which will become an alternative to the Karoq. It will be presented in October this year.
In addition, the Skoda Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe electric cars will be updated. And for 2026, the debut of a seven-seater electric crossover – the production version of the Vision 7S concept – is planned.
In 2027, Skoda Octavia, Kodiaq and Superb will be updated to meet Euro-7 eco-norms. At the same time, Skoda Fabia, Karoq and Kamiq will be discontinued. A year later, the 4.6-meter station wagon Combi will appear, which will become an electric analogue of the Octavia.
Skoda Octavia, Kodiaq and Superb facelifts are planned for 2031, and in two years they will be withdrawn from production. Over time, they will also be replaced by new electric cars.
