The Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo electric van has undergone a planned update and has become longer-range than its predecessor. It was valued at 43,000 euros.
There have been no visual changes, but there are some adjustments in the cabin. In equipment ID. Buzz Cargo included a multimedia system with a larger screen and backlight for touch controls. The list of driver assistance systems has also been expanded, including traffic sign recognition and lane control. A driver sobriety control system is available as an option.
Volkswagen ID.Buzz Cargo was also equipped with a new electric motor that produces 286 hp. power and 560 Nm of torque. This is almost 40% more than its predecessor. As the company reported, this not only improves dynamics, but also increases the maximum speed to 160 km/h.
The electric car also got a new 79 kWh battery, which allows it to drive up to 459 km on a single charge. The increase in power reserve was 45 km. The van supports fast charging with a capacity of up to 185 kW.
